We use a standard Surveying Contract that must be fully completed before any work can be undertaken.  Permission from the vessel owner(s) must be sought and permission from any marina or yard must also be granted.

I (as instructing client ) agree to being responsible for all charges for boat movements, slipping, docking, removals, opening up, replacements and reinstatements arising in preparation for and process of the survey.

 

3.          It is understood and agreed that the surveyors report will be a factual statement of the examination carried out within the stated limitations and with opinions given in good faith as seen at the time of the survey. It implies no guarantee against faulty design, or latent defects or suitability of the vessel for a particular purpose: NB. Liability for the said report is solely to the instructing client and to no other third party, unless otherwise specified.

 

4.          I/We agree*/do not agree* that you can clarify any uncertain points arising from your survey with the broker*/ owner* prior to rendering  your report.

 

5.          I agree to settle all outstanding accounts immediately at the time of survey/as agreed***

 

6.          I agree that interest at Barclaycard rate should be levied on overdue accounts beyond 14 days.
